Deborah's new Steelman Custom Carbon Stage Race is a black and white beauty. The frame is hand built in our Redwood City shop using carbon fiber tubes and carbon lugs. This allows for the custom designing and building of frames specific to each unique customer using 100 percent carbon fiber materials. Ride characteristics are super smooth and comfortable with amazing stiffness and stability. Our frames built with this system also lack the "dead" or "wooden" character evident in so many carbon fiber frames. The ride is resilient and lively. Some rider comments: "climbs like crazy"; "I set a new PR on my favorite downhill run"; "the road disappears beneath me"; "the quietest bike I have ever ridden". Deborah tells us that this bike has "rekindled her love of cycling."
